Improvements at L'vida Spa

Since L’Vida Spa opened in November 2007 there have been many improvements and exciting services that have been added to the spa menu.  The improvements were both cosmetic and procedural.  The standards of care have been raised to the highest possible level.  All therapists and hair stylists are very experienced and licensed. The physical changes have included a total makeover of the spa.  Freshly painted and newly furnished the spa now has a light and airy feel.  The theme is that of water, beach and ultimate relaxation.  Live hibiscus and orchids give L’Vida Spa a natural tropical touch.  The principles of Feng Sui are being incorporated into the design of the spa to provide the sense of peace and well-being.

The unique services that have been introduced are Vinotherapy, Acupuncture & Acupressure, Meditation classes and Non-Surgical Cosmetic procedures.  L’Vida Spa is proud to be the only “wine” spa in Alexandria.  The treatment products contain grapeseed extract and oil which is derived from the Chardonnay grapes of Burgundy, France.  The antioxidant content of the products is 7 times higher than Vitamin E.  So wine is not only beneficial when taken internally, it’s also very beneficial to the skin.  Experience the ultimate indulgence of the Chardonnay Facial, Chardonnay Aromatherapy Massage, Chardonnay Mani/Pedi, Chardonnay Sugar Body Scrub, Chardonnay Hair & Scalp Restoration, and Chardonnay Mud Detox Wrap.  Also available are the home care products by Olavie and LeVin Skincare.

Alternative Health therapies are now offered with Acupuncture and Acupressure by Mr. J.P. Hong, Licensed Acupuncturist.  Mr. Hong has been in practice for 20 years.  These therapies may be employed for smoking cessation, headaches, chronic pain, and arthritis to name a few conditions.  More importantly Acupuncture and Acupressure are used to restore and maintain the energy pathways within our bodies.  Very simply, if the Chi or energy within the body is free flowing there will be a greater state of health and well being of the mind.  Mr. Hong is also offering meditation classes on site to further enhance well being.

The Cosmetic Non-Surgical procedures such as Botox Cosmetic, Restylane, Perlane, Microdermabrasion, Vibradermabrasion, Obagi skin care & Obagi Blue Peel, Mesotherapy for spot fat reduction or facial rejuvenation are provided by licensed experienced Medical professionals.
